Xan Phillips Presents...Scarlet Soho
This show celebrates the synth pop of Scarlet Soho, a UK act that was formed by James Knights and Scarlet in 1999. Their latest album ‘In Cold Blood’ is their third release and boasts a very strong selection of songs. The duo have set a very high standard and there is at least one track in this album that will lodge firmly in your brain - for ever!The interview was recorded in the Bridge Pub, Shawford which is a village in Hampshire that gets mentioned in Robyn Hitchcock’s song Winchester. During this show we take Jim through the history of the band, why they don’t use drummers, touring in Europe and also a couple of tracks that have influenced their music.
