Xan Phillips Presents... Tea and a Slice of Horror
In this edition of Xan Phillips presents... we get to see many sides of the modern entertainment industry.First you'll meet working bluesman Martin Harley who, and the end of 2010, toured the south coast on a bike, playing intimate gigs and festivals. But his music has taken him abroad, far enough away that he's been able to swim with sea-turtles in Barbados From the world of film you'll meet Andy Phelps and Jake Hawkins. Their company is called Charmed Apocalypse Pictures and they are in the process of making a low budget zombie film in Hampshire. Surrounding these slices of positive happenings are great songs from the best unsigned and independent acts the UK's south coast has to offer: acts like The Shutes, Birdpen, Moontown, Timshel, The Lost Souls Club, Wise Children, Boe Weaver, Marvin B Naylor, Andrew Foster, Emily Burridge and BJ Cole. |
