Xan Phillips Presents... South by Southampton
With the Oxjam Southampton Takeover preceding the final of ‘Quest for the Chest’ there was a seven day period in Southampton full of new music.Along with some of the best new and established acts from the south coast taking part, in the audience were many people with views and opinions about what was good about the area's music scene. Which is why this edition of Xan Phillips presents is titled 'South by Southampton'. You'll hear music from bands like Birdpen, Moneytree, Subgiant, Dlugokecki, The Rebs, Kids Can't Fly, Suicide Party, Broken Liks and Toupe. Plus exciting talk about gigs and tours in China and the Far East along with a potentially controversial take on why Oxjam is good for Oxfam but bad for many other charities. There is a great music scene of the UK's south coast and this show will keep any palette satisfied. |
