Pete Mitchell is a British broadcaster with an award-winning-career spanning 20 years. Beginning in 1988 as a cricket commentator for Lancashire's Red Rose Radio, Pete is now best known for specialist music programming built around his extensive knowledge and eclectic taste.

Pete presented shows for Manchester's now legendary Piccadilly Radio where he earned his first Sony Award, with a second arriving a few years later for his work on Virgin Radio. He has also provided programming for XFM and regularly broadcasts on BBC Radio 2 and BBC 6 Music.
